Guys, I finally learned how to edit my podcast audio and get the files posted on Libsyn. The inaugural Internet of things Podcast with Stacey Higginbotham is up at the iotpodcast.com web site or can be listened to below. Eventually you’ll be able to subscribe via iTunes, but I first need to post a few episodes before I can convince Apple I’m legit, so bear with me, and feel free to listen here. I know, it’s asking a lot, but I did learn how to edit audio and made a new blog for you guys and everything. I need to figure out how to make it into something you can download, so feel free to tell me what your favorite Word Press plug in is in the comments.
This week’s episode features a quick take on the D-Link Staples Connect Home Hub, Kevin Tofel discussing the Apple Watch and a guest interview with Brady Forrest from PCH’s Highway1 incubator on building hardware that doesn’t suck. Forrest actually schooled me on some important points, although I’m still not sold on the idea that startups or anyone building connected devices should expect much from a mainstream consumer. So, please, listen to the show and share your thoughts. I’m working out the kinks, so I expect it will get better with time.
